Build EXFO Exchange CSV import files

Choose Workflow

Pick whether this app builds the rows or imports them from Excel.

Setup Job creates rows from a fiber range. Import Job uses row names from an Excel workbook.

Job Information

These values apply to the exported EXFO job. Most are written only on the first CSV row.

This becomes the exported name field.

Assignee Email(s)

Saved emails persist across sessions. Select one or more to assign to this job.

This is the value written to the CSV assignees column.
Saved as yyyy-mm-dd.

Setup Job

Set the identifier columns, fiber range, and testPointName pattern in one place.

Identifier Columns & TestPoint Name

Each row is both an identifier column and a testPointName part. Turn parts on or off, then move them into the order you want.

Use testPointName
Column Name Becomes the CSV header
Value for This Job Written into every generated row
Order Move part
This shows the generated name for the first fiber using current values. B→A rows transpose Location A/B values in the actual CSV.

Fiber Range

The first Fiber ID used during generation.
How many sequential fibers to generate.
The Name becomes the CSV column header (e.g. identifier_Cable ID). The Value is written into every generated row. identifier_Fiber ID is always included automatically. If both Location A and Location B are present, B→A rows automatically transpose their values.

Import Job (Excel)

The workbook supplies row-level names. Job metadata and tests come from this app.

Excel Import
Required header: testPointName. Optional row-level identifier columns must use the identifier_* pattern.
No Excel file loaded yet.
Excel mode note: testPointName comes from the workbook, so sequential naming controls are hidden.

Tests

Add the tests that should appear in the CSV. The review step shows the final columns before download.

Quick Preset

Start with a common stack, or keep Custom and add tests below.

Choose a preset to quickly load a common test stack, or stay on Custom.

Selected Tests

Column labels show where each standard test type will appear in the CSV.

Add Test

A→B and B→A create separate directional groups in the CSV.
Advanced coverage
Leave this on All for the normal workflow.

Config Files to Export

Saved configs persist across sessions. Select which ones to export as testConfigurations.

Enter filename with correct extension (e.g. .iolmcfg, .oltscfg, .opmcfg). No paths.
Pipe-delimited in the CSV testConfigurations field. Only configs highlighted above are included.

Review & Generate

Check the CSV preview, then generate the file.

Format: https://exfoexchange.com/workspaces/XXXXXX/jobs where XXXXXX is your workspace number. This link is saved locally for quick access. After generating the CSV, open this page to import the file.
