Build EXFO Exchange CSV import files

Choose Input Mode

Start here. Everything else adapts to the workflow you pick.

Sequential creates rows from fiber ranges. Excel Import uses names already defined in a spreadsheet.

Job Information

These values apply to the exported EXFO job. Most are written only on the first CSV row.

This becomes the exported name field.

Assignee Email(s)

Saved emails persist across sessions. Select one or more to assign to this job.

This is the value written to the CSV assignees column.
Saved as yyyy-mm-dd.

Identifiers

Define identifier names and values. Each creates a CSV identifier_* column. Fiber ID is always present and auto-increments.

Column Name Becomes the CSV header
Value for This Job Written into every generated row
The Name becomes the CSV column header (e.g. identifier_Cable ID). The Value is written into every generated row. identifier_Fiber ID is always included automatically. If both Location A and Location B are present, B→A rows automatically transpose their values.

Sequential Fiber Range

Define the start fiber and how many fibers to generate.

The first Fiber ID used during generation.
How many sequential fibers to generate.

Test Point Name Order

Set the order of parts that compose testPointName. Enable or disable each part.

This shows the generated name for the first fiber using current values. B→A rows transpose Location A/B values in the actual CSV.

Import Excel Sheet

The workbook supplies row-level names. Job metadata and tests come from this app.

Excel Import
Required header: testPointName. Optional row-level identifier columns must use the identifier_* pattern.
No Excel file loaded yet.
Excel mode note: testPointName comes from the workbook, so sequential naming controls are hidden.

Test Stack

Build the test layers attached to each generated or imported row.

Choose a preset to quickly load a common test stack, or stay on Custom.

Add Test Layer

A→B and B→A create separate directional groups in the CSV.

Config Filename Library

Saved configs persist across sessions. Select which ones to export as testConfigurations.

Enter filename with correct extension (e.g. .iolmcfg, .oltscfg, .opmcfg). No paths.
Pipe-delimited in the CSV testConfigurations field. Only configs highlighted above are included.

Review & Generate

Confirm the summary below, then generate the CSV.
